TIBCO General Interface

TIBCO General Interface (a.k.a "GI") is the award winning Ajax rich Internet application (RIA) toolkit that allows organizations to capitalize on the lower costs of web applications while delivering the look and feel of desktop-installed software and components.

TIBCO General Interface has two components:

• TIBCO General Interface Framework for application deployment.
• TIBCO General Interface Builder for application development.

TIBCO General Interface Framework.
TIBCO General Interface Framework enables developers to deploy and deliver browser-based applications that are developed in TIBCO General Interface Builder. Once the applications are deployed, they can be run in a web browser.

TIBCO General Interface Builder.
TIBCO General Interface Builder is a visual development environment for developing and building RIAs, Ajax components, and portlets. Because TIBCO General Interface Builder is itself an Ajax web application, it runs in a web browser. Once application development is complete, deploy with TIBCO General Interface Framework and deliver to the end user.
